New Player Rate - Spring 2

Myth is my first LARP, and I can't say enough about how phenomenal this game and this community are. After my first game I was obsessed. If you're interested in LARPing, this is the perfect place the start: the world is rich, the players are welcoming, and the staff do their best to bring you aboard and get you up to speed.

Great staff, engaging story, excellent atmosphere. Looking forward to even more great things from this group in the games to come. If you've never LARPed before or if you're a vet player, this game easily feels like home.

I was new to LARP and was worried about how I would learn all the rules and make friends, but it honestly has been the most amazing experience. I made friends day one, everyone is so good about talking to everyone and including new players.

An easy rule set to understand, the community is very helpful to new LARPers and veterans alike.

This group of adventures gathers to have a good time. Great storytelling and immersion are the foundation of the game, but the people are what make it work.

This is my first larp ever and it is awesome! The cast and players are fun, creative, and helpful. So many people are willing to share their passion and knowledge about role playing, costuming, world-building, set design, story telling, combat, and more. It is an ideal community for creative people to connect and grow.

This was my first experience with LARPing and by far the best I have had. From my first game I felt the level of detail and storytelling were incredible and so much more than I expected. Welcoming community, great story and a weekend of fun. An absolute must try for any person or group interested in Larping!

The plot is engaging and is for a variety of LARP styles, the costuming and props are great, and the entire admin/cast team is tops. You know a game is amazing when CAST is having fun along with Players...

I participated in my first Myth event last fall and it was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The costumes, both players and cast, were great. Far better than when I last LARPed 25 years ago. The new player orientation was top notch. I met a great group of players and can’t wait for the next event.

Myth Larp is an incredible experience. I had never larped before and the myth community made me and my friends feel so welcomed and included. I've been going back ever since.

I went to my first event in September 2021, which also happened to be my first LARP ever, and I can't even begin to describe how much of an amazing experience it's been not only at game, but online between events as well. It honestly would not be an exaggeration to say that Myth changed my life.

All my friends came with me to this LARP and none of us regret it. The community is open and accepting, the game runners are creative and dedicated, and the opportunities available to everyone ensure you have a good time no matter how you want to play. I’ll be there every game if I can help it.

Myth was my first LARP experience, and I did not expect to love it as much as I do. The Myth community is so incredibly welcoming- all of my fears and anxieties were immediately put to rest by the support of the total strangers around me that quickly became wonderful friends. I've had the time of my life playing with these amazing storytellers, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.

Until you have decided to jump out of your “comfort zone” you will never realize just how large your “comfort zone” actually is. I am 48 years old and went to my first event in September and I have never felt more cared for and supported while having the most fun of my life!!!
